Handwriting Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists will use techniques in a one-on-one setting to help children of all ages improve their handwriting.
Areas our Occupational Therapists help your child:
- Improving formation of horizontal lines, vertical lines, circles, and squares, which are early milestones for upper and lowercase letters
 - Improving formation of upper and lower case letters
 - Making Handwriting that is clear and legible
 - Improving the ability to hold a crayon, pencil, or pen correctly
 - Improving staying on the page they are writing
 - Improving writing from left to right
 - Reducing fatigue when writing due to reduced hand strength
 - Reducing/eliminating frustration when writing
 - Using an age-appropriate grasp on the writing utensil
 - Developing proper posture in the chair
 - Developing proper letter formation and sizing
 - Meeting developmental milestones for writing
 - Making writing fun
