Build essential social skills in a supportive group setting!

Our monthly Social groups help children learn social skills in a small group setting to develop essential foundational skills that are vital for building friendships, engaging with others, and developing foundational language skills. Our 1 hour class is broken into 2 parts. Children begin with fun circle time activities to work together, make friends, learn joint attention skills, and engage in activities as a group by following directions and social cues. These foundational skills are the cornerstone of school setting and developing higher level language as children develop. The group utilizes music, language games, and turn taking games to build early social skills that develop into stronger skills later in life. The second part of the class is engaging in a sensory art activity as a group, using turn taking skills and working collaboratively and individually with others while enjoying a sensory task!
