Dream Big’s Physical Therapy Department works with families in our office setting as well as in home in Williamson counties from infancy to young adults.
Physical Therapy for different ages and stages:
Infants
- Working with children to improve delayed developmental milestones
- Torticollis (muscle tightness of the neck in infancy leading to abnormal posture)
- Plagiocephaly
- Developed developmental milestones of rolling, crawling, pulling up, tummy time
Toddlers
- Increasing strength and endurance for gross motor activities of walking, jumping, kicking, throwing, etc
- Improving balance
- Improving strength due to muscle weakness
- Improving coordination
- improve joint range of motion
- Working with children with a neuromuscular diagnoses (Cerebral Palsy, Dystonia, Traumatic Brain Injury, congenital and non congenital disorders, etc.)
- Improving muscle tone
- Orthopedic injuries, working with splits and adjusts with your PCP
- Improving any difficulties with atypical gait (toe walking, crouched gait, etc.)
Children and Teens
- Increasing strength and endurance for gross motor activities of walking, jumping, kicking, throwing, etc
- Improving balance, strength, coordination due to muscle weakness or disorders
- Injuries from Sports, accidents, or falls
- Orthopedic injuries
